So the her brother has some serious injuries to his ankle or something.

She has a broken rib and two cracked vertebrae. Just heard a news story on CBC radio that interviewed their dad.

Unbelievable! Hope it doesn't effect her mobility or anything.

Crazy, I remember seeing the driver, Kris Pope, around set when we had him on set as a background actor on Smallville. If I recall correctly, he also had a brief stint on Jess' show Dark Angel as her love interest.

Yes they mentioned he is an actor as well. Although they didn't reference any of his works.

Sounds to me like the brother wanted to talk to a witness. I don't think he fled the scene, purposely leaving his sister behind.

There's lots of different reports about this incident. 1 thing that I've noticed from most of the articles is that the pedestrian was at fault.

I've seen plenty during my daily commute in and out of Downtown and the worst offenders are usually in a 5 series and X5 and the driver is usually non-Asian and 35+.
