Supafly 01-02-2010 11:09 PM

i actually have all the parts handy on my desk....may build one for myself...i'll let you guys know how it goes...its way more complicated that it seems....this shit will need resistors and other shit added to it.

TOS'd 01-02-2010 11:15 PM

I was actually planning on making this when KipKay first posted the video. But I have been too lazy to acquire the laser housing.

Supafly, do you know where to get a laser housing locally?

pinoypixie86 01-02-2010 11:17 PM

oh my god, boys and their toys. like when i was doing christmas shopping my friends were TOTALLY raving over all of this like useless stuff and I was like "hello we need to shop"

one would guess to take apart a laser pointer and remove the diode in it, and apply the new diode in its place?..does that sound right?

rsx 01-03-2010 02:02 PM

3 diodes in one mag light would be bad ass

El Bastardo 01-03-2010 02:03 PM

Why not take a mini torchlight and use the housing there? You'll have more room and it should be sturdier.

Ferra 01-03-2010 08:13 PM

is it gonna be much more powerful if I use a blue ray disc laser? :D

El Bastardo 01-03-2010 08:29 PM

You'd need to have a blu ray burner. You can get the individual diodes on ebay for like $20... also... it looks cool as fuck because its a blue laser.

hal0g0dv2 01-03-2010 08:38 PM
