buy low sell high , import and sell.

I would like to bring a product into Canada. Its only available in the US. You could order it online but would have to wait, and I know some people hate waiting for something they want now. How would I go about doing that? would I need a license to sell this product? would I have to get permission from the manufacture? I will search Google but just wanted to know if anyone here has ventured in this area. Thanks guys,

to0n.

it all depends on what the product is. some things require certain levels of approval from government agencies: food, hardgoods, etc. most require additional duties to be paid. every manufacturer is different. the best thing to do is contact them and tell them your plans. they may even help you.
