GPU OC Problem

Hey guys,

Need some help. I was overclocking an 8800GTS 512MB with Rivatuner 2.24. The screen turned light blue and just froze. I tried to wait it out but ended up rebooting the comp manually.

Now when I reboot, the computer doesn't seem to post (no beep). Computer is on, CPU fan, GPU fan, are all on but I get no video signal.

Comp Specs:
Win XP 32
Q6600 @ stock speed
P5K mobo
3 gig DDR2 RAM
8800 GTS 320MB

I went through the overclockers.net forum and it seems most ppl ran their video cards around these speeds:

Manufacturer:EVGA
Model/Make: 8800GTS 512MB (standard clocks)
Speeds: 795/1090/1940 (core/mem/shader)
Cooling: Stock, Fan 70%
Mods: none

I got to about 770/999/17xx and the screen went a light blue and froze.

Anyone got any ideas?

how much power does your power supply give and are you running many drives and lights and stuff in the case?

I figured it out. It took an unusual amount of time to boot, it would say no signal for like 30-45 seconds. I went and reformatted the comp.
