The Japanese forest and the weird house are the only ones that are that creepy on that list. That pod house? Meh.

And 100% honest, if it weren't for my fear of radiation killing my sperm or making me grow extra thumbs on my ass, I would've gone to Chernobyl already. I think the whole thing is fascinating and I've seen some absolutely amazing photography done in the area. I don't find that area creepy at all...although I would want to be packing an M4 in case of radioactive dogs or zombies or whatever.

And that church looks cool as fuck. I'd go if I were in the Czech Republic.

The forest is the only one creepy to me, though even that's a little subdued given the attitude of the article, I couldn't help giggling at the caption under one of the photos "If you commit suicide here, bears will poop on your corpse." Not my fault, I think it's fucking hilarious.

Chernobyl looks fascinating though. I've only heard it mentioned, never really looked into it or studied it. Is the level in MW2? I think I recall seeing a ferris wheel when watching Raid3n play.

Stalker has better Chernobyl material. :) Though they sorta whisk you through Pripyat and Chernobyl itself.

Wow after seeing the nsfw pictures of number 6 I'm not gonna be able to sleep now!
So many people killed themselfs! Creepy!

There's a pretty creepy place in Oregon in a little town called la grand it's a hotel now but it was called hot lakes and when it first opened it was a hospital and then they changed it into an insane asilume and then changed it into a hotel and then changes it into a recovery place for scolieosis or what ever and then it sat for ever and walls feel down it's really creepy and they just started on the renivations to fix it up and make it a hotel again it's a really creepy palcw been there a few times I'll post pics later !

you'd have to be a complete idiot to go anywhere near that city. radiation levels will subside to a "safe" level in 100-150 years. they say its safe now my ass. my Mom at the time was working with a ecological organization which closely monitored that god forsaken place. they are only saying its safe so they can get tourism. if you have untreatable cancer - go for it, it'll be the trip of a lifetime.

Everybody who was working to evacuate the population died within 1 week.
Everybody who was working to evacuate the workers of the powerplant itself, died within 12 hours.
Almost 8/10 of the population of the city perished in 5 years.
The other 2/10 have unseen mutations and are fucked.
