I believe it's good to have a power struggle. It keeps all parties in check. Look at what the fishing industry did to our world's fish stock. Not saying who's right or wrong here, but without these "sea sheperds" getting in the way, whales have a prety good chance of being hunted to extinction.

Saying that protecting the Whales is tantamount to protecting the ecological system is pure and simple bullshit. There are a million things that are WORSE for the environment than whaling on such a limited scale. The reason that you are against killing whales is that they are cute. You know the annual dolphin hunt in Japan? It's a single village. It's once a year. They don't kill more than can be easily consumed.
It's time to shut the fuck up and admit that you're protesting the whale hunts because they're cuter than cod.

Nice Boat
3rd vid: no replacement for displacement. lol you can clearly see the batman wannabe accelerates right before the collision... even when the 2nd vid showed it seemed like the Japanese ship steered close to them, but last moment that caused the wreck is the bat boat... but if it's ICBC they'll call it 50/50. lol

Who cares if we screw up the international water, right? it is not our country, let's just turn it into a shithole for our convenience | Welcome to the 2000s, where pretty much the entire world does it to an extent - because it IS convenient. Much like the air, why do we just pump CO2, SO2, nitrates into the air? because it's convenient and cheap. Sure there are regulations to limit it, but burning fossil fuels forms the basis of our lives, much like how whale meat is a staple product in the Japanese economy. Sure, banning whaling gets to the point, but is it "right" anymore when you consider the fact that you are taking away a staple food product of a certain culture? - If North America was suddenly banned from eating beef, how would you feel North Americans will feel? What about a problem more close to home... why aren't there similar "actions" taken against BC salmon hunts when the observable effects are far greater?
The Bat Boat with all its technological innovation decided to do the smart thing and "LETS BLOCK OFF A HUGE SHIP SO THEY CAN'T GO PLACES KEKEKEKEKEKEKE"
It's like a kid in a smart car (nevermind a hummer) trying to stop a train by stopping on the tracks

It's time to shut the fuck up and admit that you're protesting the whale hunts because they're cuter than cod. | All I said was that it is not right to hunt a vulnerable specie that is vital to our ecological system and going pass loopholes of the laws, and you magically conclude that I support farming of non-local species and banning of seal hunt?
I don't support fish farming. I have no problem w/ people killing seal to control their population as long as they do it in a humane way. I don't think whales are cute. To me, they are just like any other fish except much bigger in size and smaller in numbers. So what's your point?
I guess you somehow have this imagination in your head that everyone who are for conservation are mindless and all-loving tree huggers.
And just because something else we are doing is more damaging to the environment than whaling is not a justification to continue doing it. There are ALWAYS SOMETHING that is more damaging to the environment than something.
