timeout error problem with Mac's Adium

so i am using Adium for msn on my new macbook which runs snowleopard 10.6

i often get this "msg maybe not sent because a time out error occurred" or "switchboard error occurred"

its pretty annoying, any fix?

I'm assuming it has to do you with connection and not adium itself.

I have the exact same system, version and OS as you so it might just be your connection.

If you haven't do so, uninstall and reinstall and see if it fixes anything. If not, it is most likely your connection.

Connection problem - I've had this issue before when I had a flakey router.
