Bingo. If it wasn't for the pricematch option, I'd be shopping at Anitec.

Never had a problem with NCIX and I've bought a lot of stuff from them. I've had the differences on price matches done a few days after buying items and exchanged lcd's whenever there was a problem without any hassle. Even for pickups, I'd make an order and go to the store 30mins later and my order is ready. Then again I only deal with only 1 person at the Vancouver store.

just wanted to clarify.

price match of the item doesn't include the shipping cost right?

Ikkaku 01-11-2010 09:53 PM

nope

it usually is just the item by itself ... either regular price or instant savings.

btw directbuy and a few other companies are owned by them... which is why some companies are easier to PM

Not that my opinion matters in the slightest, but yeah ncix is the only place I go for computer parts anymore. Some days its busy as all hell and you need to pull a number and stand around for 30 minutes until you get called, but they have good service, and any time something hasnt worked, I was always able to take it back and swap it out, no questions asked.

Nope.

They'll match any online canadian price provided its the exact same product and not below their cost. They don't factor in shipping cost. Most the comp stores I price match are back East and 95% of the time they accept their prices.

I've only had two incidents where they said they couldn't price match online. They told me the price was below their cost and they gave me their counter offer.

Remember price matching works better ONLINE. I've tried price matching at the store a couple times and usually they won't do it or they give you a slightly cheaper discount but still won't match.

i don't know why people still go here. i usually find anitec and newegg are comparable to ncix in terms of price. when i used to go to ncix, even if i knew what i wanted, I would still usually have to wait 15-20 min just to pay. makes me feel stupid every time i think about it.

basically anyone in town who's bought computer parts has dealt with ncix
