conan will easily pick up offers from other networks, he's a proven money maker! 
whether he stays with NBC or goes elsewhere, i will watch his show.

that sucks for conan. much respect for him. and i like jay leno too... if only for his everyday man persona and his love of cars. not sure how much of this is really his doing vs the NBC executives but i'm ready to dislike him if he, a man already having had a good long career and of good name, is ready to screw over a colleague for better ratings.

Leno kicks ass.... he's still pulling in 5million + viewers (although prior primetime ratings were in the 7million numbers) even still he has like double the audience that Conan does
Conan isn't the Tonight Show... he's Late Night... that's where he shines... that's where he's funniest
Conan pulled a bitch move to try and give Leno the boot... well he won... unfortunately he couldn't handle the winnings.
Conan foresaw his inability to handle the Tonight Show... that's why he got in his contract a deal where if he gets pulled from the Tonight Show he actually gets paid more $$$ (he's shrewd and conniving)

PT2 - you're right, he had to dumb down his show for 11.35. I don't like it as much. But even Letterman had to dumb it down.
Pt3 - The contract Conan signed in 2004 stipulated he'd get the Tonight Show in June 2009. NBC didn't just want to let Leno go to Fox (or wherever) so they made this primetime show for him. Leno promised a new show but really its just the same show minus a desk and a stupid "10 at 10" segment. I don't believe Conan "foresaw" anything, this is just a big cockup my NBC. They mishandled everything and even if Jay Leno gets 11.30 back to me the show is stained, plus they now have the craptastic Jimmy Fallon following suit. Good Luck NBC.
