i never used to understand why people always complain about driving in richmond. it seemed no worse than driving downtown.

til last month i was just driving through minding my own business, and out of no where, some lady drives across two lanes straight into the side of my car.

fishing666 01-14-2010 04:51 PM

i don't notice because im tensed up even when not driving

Iceman-19 01-14-2010 05:41 PM

I get the occasional asshole pucker when some asshole puts me in a sticky situation, or there were a few times when I was on my bike, but other then that, Im relaxed. Unless Im in a hurry, then Im angry at all you slow assholes.

Too relaxed sometimes that my mind starts wandering away.

umpadupa 01-14-2010 07:29 PM

if its good weather.. i some times get home... and i dont even remember what happend. LOL i caught myself doing it one time.. and somehow my foot would be on the gas at exactly 55km/h -/+ 5km/h LOL when im awake.. is when i start passing ppl

static 01-14-2010 07:47 PM

InvisibleSoul 01-14-2010 10:10 PM

I'm so relaxed, I'm almost comatose.

crazyazn 01-14-2010 11:13 PM

super relaxed when there are no cars (eg. 2 or 3 in the morning)

maxxxboost 01-14-2010 11:29 PM

After 2 seasons on my motorcycle, i was never the same again driving my car.

I tense up sometimes when i see cars that over-shoot stop signs or stick out too much doing turns and etc.

OT:

how to do i take a picture like that? setting the shutter speed slower, but how do i get it to be less blurry? any advice?

would a tripod on the center console help? probably not since there are bumps on the road...

JSALES 01-15-2010 12:08 AM

i think i'm pretty relaxed but this question makes me wonder if i really am now or not haha

Make it fixed to the car somehow (tripod attached to centre console would work) and try to drive straight/not hit bumps/not move for a couple of secs.

Lean back and drive normally.

AzNightmare 01-15-2010 11:19 AM

That's a pretty cool picture! Not sure which Toyota it is though.

dkvby 01-15-2010 01:06 PM

Whenever i shift, abdominal muscles get intense

Westcoast67 01-15-2010 06:17 PM

My shoulder has some weird twitch when I'm about to shift...other than that, pretty much relaxed. If you're a commuter I think it comes with the territory or else you'd end up killing people.

Fafine 01-15-2010 06:20 PM

chillin like a villian

on the other hand i notice a lot of drivers with their hands at 11 and 1 position and their face is literally inches away from the steering wheel with their shoulders all hunched up.

Gh0stRider 01-15-2010 10:26 PM

terrified when i enter richmond or see a female driver.

!SG 01-15-2010 10:30 PM

honestly, use to be a very relaxed driver, but in the past id say, 5 or so years, way more tense with the onslot of way more drivers on the road. most will say it, but richmond scares me. have been almost hit so many damn times from drivers that just dont even bother looking.
