I watched this documentary and i thought it was pretty interesting so i decided to share.

This documentary describes how "JDM" came to be in the west. It focuses on Hondas and in Washington state.

you're going to get flamed because the nissan guys put "JDM" as pure japanese imported RHD vehicles. Coming from both sides the term "JDM" has a different meaning on each side.

i just put it how the documentary puts it! :P

JDM in the west = making a USDM car to look like a stock JDM variant....

Is it me or does majority of the guys interviewed seem like a bunch of losers? Like the guy who's counting out the number of cars he has owned. I enjoy documentaries about the import scene but this one was hard to watch, shouldn't they interview people that are better spoken and not every other word is "like" and "consuming" or "it comsumes you".

edit: watched through abit more of it, it's actually getting better. They even interviewed cresent from topshift, that's pretty cool.

pretty sweet documentary. the featured cars might be limited to hondas, but the passion runs across all makes and models.

it's nice to know i'm not the only one who is always worried about his car getting stolen! fucking car thieves....
