shipping car from Vancouver to US

Hi I have a person that is interested in my car and wants to purchase it through ebay from Arizona. I never shipped a car before and don't know the procedures or the shipping companies and am asking for some help and advice here. How do i ship a car from here to the states? Since the transaction will go through ebay/paypal, how would it work since paypal requires a confirmation of the tracking number to recieve full funds.

Thanks in advance

if that person is really interested then tell him to come look at the car by flying from arizona to vancouver, then let him deal with shipping the car
that way you'll be save from the problems that may arise with ebay/paypal

and if hes not willing to fly here from arizona to vancouver, offer him that you will pay for the tickets, if hes still not willing to come by, then you know he was trying to scam you all along

You don't do any of the work. He organizes it all. First and for most, don't send the car off until you have the money.

What i did. I only sent it to Montreal mind you.

Essentially he organized it all, I saw money in my paypal, the next day I drove to the point of shipping (place on mitchel island) and signed a couple papers and said goodbye to my car.

Personally, I would have waited for the funds to clear and deposited into my bank account before releasing the car.

Aren't they clear once they are in Paypal? Unless he files a claim?

I mean, the second I saw them I transferred them... Minus a couple days to actually process the transfer.

Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

There have been instances in which scammers have stolen peoples identities and have gone as far as creating a Paypal account while linking their bank account and credit cards to pay for items/merchandise and what have you. The victim of the identity theft reports it to their bank/credit card companies/PayPal and one those funds are stopped/revoked - you are totally SOL. However, with something like a car - it can and cannot be traced. I don't specialize in financial law so I can't comment any further.

I know about the example I provided because a friend of mine sold a set of tickets for a Justin Timberlake concert a while back. Buyer paid via Paypal which was legit, met up, handed over the tickets. A few days later, Paypal revoked the funds and advised the account was fraudulent. My friend was SOL. Lesson learned over a couple hundred bucks. Imagine this was your car!

Yeah I get orders like that every other month or so. It happens a lot more on the video game store than it does on the Japanese hair care products store

Basically, if I send to USA and it looks sketchy, I wait a week. I have only had one person attempt to scam from Europe. If it's an order from Sweden or Norway or whatever, it goes out immediately. Those guys are trustworthy

i've heard of situations where the buyer is dishonest and retracted the payment after he/she confirms the goods have been sent, so that they get free merchandise AND their money back too.
