Pulled a muscle in my leg....

A few days ago I was sleeping and someone rang my door bell so I quickly jumped out of my bed and pulled something in my left leg. The first day my entire leg and lower back were hurting, back pain went away the next day but now the pain is in my calf muscle and my foot feels numb. There's no swelling and it isn't really that painful. This has happen to me but it went away the next day and it wasn’t as a bad as this so what's a good rub and meds that might help?

the best thing you can do is give the area effected the cold and hot treatment, get a bag of ice and a heat pad, then alternate the hot then cold for about ten minutes each time, do this for a couple of days. also try to rest the leg, it will take a few days to react, but will take a couple of weeks to be back to normal.
