I experienced exactly this about 18 months ago. Although I'd enjoy being "high," my comedowns were riddled with negativity, anxiety, and depression. Lying in bed waiting to fall asleep, negative thoughts would race through my mind... everything from the possibility of loved ones dying to flaws in my appearance or a stupid thing I said to someone earlier in the day. Usually I could just wipe the thoughts from my mind, but no question that the comedown as a whole was quite a depressing time. Not surprisingly, it made smoking pot way less fun.

I ended up taking a 7 month break from blazing. I am actually very proud that I was able to last that long, because it was completely voluntary. When I began smoking again, my love for pot was re-kindled. Since then I have actually increased the frequency of my blazing, and it has become a nightly habit. I don't really experience any negativity at all anymore, aside from the standard stoner paranoia/slight anxiety.

Although this may not be the "cure" you're looking for, I suggest taking a few weeks off. Making a healthy change in your lifestyle - such as cutting out weed for a little while - can really make you feel a lot better about yourself. It wouldn't hurt to make some small improvements to your diet and get some exercise during your weed hiatus, either, although I don't suggest anything major.

IMO, any stoner needs to take a break now and then, even if it's just a couple of nights off. It'll make you appreciate the sensation more and probably improve your mood while you're high.

Like anything else... When it becomes too much of a habit, you begin to lose appreciation for the joy that pot can bring.

Yup, and Phenibut. But don't use it more than 2 nights in a row, in any given week.

I wish everyone could be like me and fall asleep wherever and whenever they felt like it. I have problems staying awake. If i'm bored, I'll pass out quick. Energy drinks and coffee don't help at all..

Go buy 2 bottles of Phenibut and a bottle of 5-HTP at bb.com. You'll spend the same amount but will have 120 servings instead of 40

lol.. last night I went to bed and passed out within like 10 minutes..
Didnt wake up once during the night. No weird dreams nothing.

Maybe just knowing that it wasnt anything to do with me as a person calmed me down enough to finally actually sleep.

Unless it's type 1 diabetes, it has less to do with genetics, and more to do with eating "whatever you want". Cardio is all good, but it doesn't negate the effects of constant excess insulin.

I hear you, I believe I have sleep apnea as well because no matter how long I sleep I always wake up tired. my gf says that I snore really loud and sometimes I stop breathing during my snoring and I get woken up. I should really go and get it checked out but I'm lazy

I quit december 1st because I am looking for work and wanted to be able to pass a drug test should that be necessary. the timing could not have been worse with the stress of the holiday season but I am being layed off at the end of february which also adds to that stress because i need to figure out what I am going to do. On top of that, a bit of my safety net, my parents, are moving to the island soon so I no longer have the option of moving in with them while I go back to school. I also need to find a place for all my crap, as well a vehicle, which my parents have been letting me store at their house. so much stress bah. I've had quite a struggle with sleep which was already compounded by my 2 week shift rotations including graveyard shifts. at least I am saving a bit of money by quitting, gaining a clear head, and reducing my lazyness. Once I find a job that can cover my bills, its back to easy street.

dont pick up smoking. it is so stupid to quit weed and start to smoke. It's worse for you in the long run.
