| Problems, Win7 64bit + PS CS4
Does anyone run cs4 and win7 64bit find an issue with the redraw rate? My cs4 is practically useless since i upgraded to win 7 64bit. I would do something (draw, clone, etc) and i wouldnt be able to see changes until i minimize and maximize the window.
My system is an AMD x2 5000+ 4 gig gskill ram and geforce 9800GT vid card.
could this be an issue with the vid card driver? damn anoying. Anyone else experience this?

were you running WinXP/Vista 64-bit before? If you were running 32-bit with no problems before, I would take a look at motherboard firmware and flash it with the latest firmware first. If that dosen't fix the problem, make sure you download the correct 64-bit drivers from the manufactuer themselves (AMD/ATi in your case). Next - check to see if video acceleration settings are correct (acceleration should be enabled).

i had xp 32bit before. I've never downloaded any mobo drivers before or now actually. I have a gigabyte mobo. All my acceleration and open gl are opened.

This is a bit off-topic but slightly related...
I recently was checking a few of my own pictures out on several other screens and I noticed the pics were more "saturated" more color. They appeared more colorful on a 24bit screen, also when on a mac same thing. I then check on a 32bit laptop and they were the same just darker (the screen wasn't as bright compared to mine). Screen I'm using is 22" HP widescreen 32bit with DVI cable.
I read something about some programs for "true color" collaboration, worth to get or nothing to worry about?

1exotic, do you have colour profiles for each monitor turned off? If your viewing them on different machines, they could have different colour profiles selected for your monitor. Which would render different colours or saturation in your case.
To get the most accurate colour, you need to calibrate your screen with a calibration device. If you can not afford a calibration device, try adobe gamma. I am not sure if it is included in CS4. It was not included in CS3.

also I do think my CS4 is calibrated since the colors slightly appear less "saturated" compared to when they are not opened in PS.
