The woman was not arrested and her footage eventually ran on her Italian TV show -- she thought the whole thing was a big joke.
But if the roles were reversed -- and it was a man grabbing a woman ... would the reporter have gotten away with it?

As per your statement of it would be the same had it been a guy grabbing a girl... A patron at my pool brought up something similar not too long ago.
I was doing my walk back through the changerooms and a patron comes up to me and says that a woman had just come into the changeroom and began get her child ready for swimming lessons (while other men were getting changed and what not). This lady was already gone before I came through if not I woulda said something.
I basically told the guy that there really wasn't anything I could do and that I understood where he was coming from. He was cool about it (strange thing to have "normal" people at the pool).
Then he goes on to mention/ask what would have happened if he had done that in the womans change room... couple years in prison?
Anyways, thought i'd share.
