None of my friends like this type of music so i don't really have anyone to go with.

I've seen both in concert. Raphael brings back the old skool dance and old tunes from Tony Toni Tone and of course Lucy Pearl (Let's Dance Tonight). India Arie is good live as well, very down to earth.
