Windows key + R

Type IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS

Powercycle your modem or router.

penner2k 01-24-2010 05:11 PM

ok thats weird.. for some reason spybot had added an entry into my hosts file for hotfile and a bunch of other websites I visit..
Uninstalled spybot.. reset my hosts file and now its fine

unless I'm mistaken you missed a step. Type cmd into the run window, then type ipconfig /flushdns. Not sure if you can do that straight from the run window and can't check as I'm currently on my Mac.

Yeah, the command prompt pops up and disappears as soon as the command is done.
