homemade mushroomsoup, canned too. clam chowder, chinese chicken noodle soup same as Crayon's version, fried spam and egg on rice, chicken pesto alfredo and jambalaya soup

Love this thread..when I crave comfort food, I want my moms persian cooking..I can make it all, but there is something about mom making it, that makes 1,00,000,000X better..

Zereshk Polo.. ( Rice with Barberries w/ chicken..amd always a side of BBQ tomato)


Joojeh Kabob (Grilled chicken)


Fesenjan (lamb in walnut sauce...the oil on top of the stew is all from the walnuts that you use..cook for several hours, and you get this rich and delicious, deep brown coloured sauce. OH MY GOD...

instead of mushroom soup on broccoli, I cook some fish sticks and broccoli and put corn soup on it

try a can of mushroom soup poured over thin sliced iceberg lettuce. let the heat of the soup cook the lettuce. simple and very comforting.
