I think it has more to do the the internet than video games, violent in video games can only go so far and after all, you are just looking at some computer graphics.
While on the internet, you can literally find any crazy shit you want, and unlike video games,they are real footage of real human being. i.e. bunch of kids murdering and mutilating a guy, dude jump off a bridge and had his face cracked open.....
I think watching so much of this shit especially at an young age will really fuck up your mind.
