Why not wait to buy till V.2 when it includes USB, HDMI, Webcam and all the other crap that they'll add in minor upgrades for the next version...

I'm not going to keep something forever, but I'd rather not pay Apple for minor updates that they should have included in the first fucking version, instead you're paying them 5x as much because you keep buying V2 (Probably next April at that) and V3 etc for one tiny ass upgrade like a fucking HDMI or USB.

No one should buy anything ever if that was the case as everything is always improved down the road. Especially in the case of anything in technology, you'd never have anything if you waited for something better to come along. Why buy a computer? Why buy a Xbox 360 or a PS3 when the Xbox 720 will have the 3D system from Avatar and the PS4 will use a controller wired directly to your brain?

I wonder how many people complaining of V2 and V3 have kept their cell phone for the last couple years. Given the sheer number of used cell phones people sell on RS just so they can get the "latest & greatest", it would appear most people like to "buy now and upgrade later".

i went to buy one, but at the end i didn't think there was a real purpose for myself to have one (cos i already have a laptop) so i just sold it and earn 100$ lol

How is the keyboard on it? The iphone is good for tapping with the thumb, but this is quite a bit bigger. Is the keypad the size of netbook keypads?

^ HP Slate is going to go nowhere. Sure it has better technical specs then the iPad, but specs don't mean shit if there's no software for your device.
And seriously, who would run Windows 7 on an Atom with 1GB RAM? That's gonna be sloooooowwwww.
Should make a poll of all Windows 7 users on RS to list the processor/RAM they have and to give their impressions of how fast their system runs. I bet the slowest system anyone on RS has built would be several times faster than an Atom.
Where is the HP App Store? Or are you supposed to go to download.com or tucows.com to browse for your software, download it, manually install it, and if you like it then go to the company's website to register it and buy the full version? And pay $19.95-$29.95 for something that will probably cost $1.99-$4.99 on the iPad?

| I built a comp with a single core atom when it first came out and plan on installing Windows 7 when I have a change.
And the real reason for no flash is it would kill apples app store.
