Thanks. Do I need to ask for it, or do they automatically discount it for me?
I'm planning on going Saturday. That's the last day, so there should be no problems I presume?

Lol, I wasn't carry that much yen on me at that time.

Walk in and everything is 50% off. No coupon.
$90 is about what you'd be paying for wagyu in Japan at decent places. At high end places, you're looking at $200-300 for a steak, which is ridiculous. I went to a little steak house in Tokyo and paid $120 for 270 grams (which is roughly 9.5 ounces) of A5 wagyu. You can see that here: http://www.ededition.com/steak-house...atsuzaka-beef/
The key when you're getting wagyu is to order a little less than what you think you would normally eat when you're getting a steak since if you have a side or two, you feel ABSOLUTELY STUFFED due to the higher fat content. If you normally get a 12-ounce steak, get a 10-ounce...which is probably what I should've done but stupidly, I ordered a 12-ounce and felt super full afterwards. After I had that 9.5 ounce steak in Japan, I felt like I was dying from beef overload...but damn, is it good when you're eating it.

I'm planning on going Saturday. That's the last day, so there should be no problems I presume? | Saturday should be fine if it's NOT brunch since I don't think the 50% applies to Brunch? When is Brunch anyways? I thought it was Saturday and Sunday or is it just Sunday?
Hey Ronin, did the 50% lunch discount apply to the WAGYU? It's not on the Lunch menu(only on the Dinner one). Did you request it?

50% off entrees...sorry.
Yes, it applies to the wagyu. It is usually $15 an ounce. I don't think I requested it but I did ask for the wagyu menu, I guess.
I didn't originally intend on ordering the wagyu but since chef was treating us to appetizers, dessert and a couple drinks on the house, I figured it why the hell not.

The only thing I can see is that the fat is marbled into the meat..

Anyways pics up, didnt bring my DSLR, only used iphone! Sorry
I called to make reservations today for tomorrow, but they said it was brunch and the deal was off for tomorrow, we found out that they are closing at 3 so at 1:30 we rushed down and got there at 2, it was packed and we were not able to make reservations because it was walk in only.
This ended up a meal for 4 and here are some pictures:
<< Pictures taken down due to people posting it everywhere -.->>
After eating, we realized that the largest Wagyu ever ordered was 20oz, if me and my buddy knew that that was the record we would have broke it by ordering 21+ but too bad maybe next time!
Total was $500 exactly including tip.
While eating because we were outside there was a very nice matte black GTR that sounded furious drove by! That was a treat
