Hey congrats! Unlike your friends your secure enough with yourself to realize that just because a guy is dating you it doesn't mean their entire life should revolve around you.
I totally agree with how you see things, if i'm dating someone I pretty much still act like i'm single and have all the freedoms. The person i'm seeing only compliments my life and by dating it would mean we have things in common. So whenever something comes up that I know she'll enjoy .... I invite her!
Your friends sound like the types that believe relationships are all about compromise and that you should drag guys to sit thru chick flicks with you and if they dont endure this torture ......it means they dont love you:haha:
Maybe some people get off on controlling others but I have no desire to do that. Females however are the ones that go into relationships thinking they can use the power of their vagina to get guys to change for them so it makes sense.
Now for the whole persian thing... maybe the ideal that persian girls are supposed to be virgins till marriage has something to do with getting back at the guys? I mean these girls are expected to resist and hold out for so long .... maybe it's their way of getting revenge afterwards?:D Quote:

So it turns out im a nut case who doesnt know how to control my man.. I dont want to control my man..if I wanted to, id get a dog... So this morning I was talking to my mom about the subject, and yes shes easy going and open to talk about anything, but she thinks I need to reel it in a bit and not be the way I am. She said that a man will have no respect for me, and wont take me seriously in a relationship when I am so easy going. She mentioned things about how men like a woman to be in control and put her foot down sometimes... Now its making me wonder if Im the crazy one here...Am I wrong for being so easy going..I mean its just porn..
If any girl says she doesnt watch it when shes home alone shes a fucking liar....
