you gotta break it in so that it tilts with ease when you slouch

I already did loosen it so that it tilts much easier... but from time to time, I like to sit cross-legged or maybe with one-leg up on the chair... and with the Aeron, it's hard plastic near the front, so it's pretty uncomfortable.

Go to Impact Office Furniture on Powell St. They sell Herman Miller as well as many many other brands. That's the place for office furniture, you're a sucker if you buy from Staples.

I know some engineering companies clear out offices full of these once in awhile... the original Herman Miller Aeron (started the mesh tilt design, etc)

Know of any local liquidation places for this kind of stuff? I have sat in the Aerons before and boy are they nice.

**update** Taylor, I tried that Ikea chair you mentioned today. The mesh is quite.. unelastic. It was too "flat" for my back. No dice.

I also went to Staples across the street and tried the 2nd choice. No go, and the seat cushion SUCKS.

The mesh on both of those chairs (especially the Staples model) feels almost like something you'd find in a hockey jersey.

I do appreciate your help though.
