36 songs, 4 chords |
wow thats cool. My subconscious must really love those 4 chords cause more then 50% of those songs are on my favorites list! |
Repost? No? Hmmm Maybe I heard it some time ago. |
thanks, was looking for this awhile back |
The vid showed the typical 1-5-6-4 sequence. That covers 30% of all modern (say 1998+) pop songs released imo. A ton of other songs are 6-4-1-5 (like Offspring's Self Esteem) or 4-5-1-6 (Coldplay's Vida La Loca) if you've taken theory lessons. Notice it's STILL the same damn 4 chords. They don't write songs like they used to. Back then many songs used more than 4 chords. Not so much anymore. *edit* Sure enough, at the halfway point they switched to 6-4-1-5, and used Offspring's example! Ha! :lol |
Pretty good! I have like 16 or so out of 36 songs on my playlist :) |
awesome |
