wow thats cool. My subconscious must really love those 4 chords cause more then 50% of those songs are on my favorites list!

The vid showed the typical 1-5-6-4 sequence. That covers 30% of all modern (say 1998+) pop songs released imo.

A ton of other songs are 6-4-1-5 (like Offspring's Self Esteem) or 4-5-1-6 (Coldplay's Vida La Loca) if you've taken theory lessons. Notice it's STILL the same damn 4 chords.

They don't write songs like they used to. Back then many songs used more than 4 chords. Not so much anymore.

*edit* Sure enough, at the halfway point they switched to 6-4-1-5, and used Offspring's example! Ha!
