Smh... If you want real food then get in your car and drive 30 mins to Seattle. Go big chain like cheesecake factory or of changs or go small restaurant. Hit 4th ave towards belltown and hit up restaurant row, all the good places are there. Take a look at my previous recommendations, there are a ton of great places to eat in Seattle. Also you can never go wrong with any Tom Douglas restaurant, hmmmm chantrelle mushroom and truffle cheese pizza at serious pie, yummy!!!

For the price on a meal out for one I can feed four at home, I'd rather spend my money on other fine dining, French, italian, Japanese, west coast, etc... But if you really want a good steak check out Daniels Broiler, awesome Washington based steak house. There's also a ruth's chris although I have never been.
Do check out Purple Cafe, an awesome wine oriented restaurant (try the lobster and gruyere mac and cheese), and Dahlia Lounge, Tom Douglas' flagship joint. Posted via RS Mobile | Posted via RS Mobile |

There was an RS member who used to be a regular on the boards, Lorna (I can't remember her screen name) who opened a restaurant in Seattle, and it got really good reviews. If anyone knows, please let me know - I only have her now dead Vancouver cell#. | I think it was called Cache or something? I think it was just a temp. thing.

+1 for Cheesecake always solid.
For decent viet I always go to Green Leaf Viet in Old Chinatown in Seattle.
Their duck noodles is awesome. And their summer rolls (with the pork + shrimp) are good and different. They have this special crunch in it - the secret is a deep fried rice wrapper.

+1 for Serious Pie, been there twice already and both times were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!
I haven't tried the other Tom Douglas resturants but if they are anything of the quality that Serious Pie churns out then I'm sure they won't disappoint!

I had to share it with someone it was that good.
sure beats jack in the box.

Hey guys,
Sorry for the bump, I didn't want to make a new thread...
So I'm going to Seattle with a bunch of friends next week...
Where are the good places to eat near Bellevue, Seattle, and possibly Lynnwood?
TIA

ruth's chris steakhouse, best one is in bellevue
they have a classics menue, $40 or $50 depending on which you choose (few options)
you get a soup or salad to start, and entree, a side for your entree, and dessert
i love the fillet (steak) but there are toppings for it, the oscar is the best but its an extra 15 dollars

I see somebody is heading down to PAX
But anyways, +1 for Cheesecake Factory, for a restaurant that people analogize to The Keg, it makes The Keg look like a shit shack.

^ They're on the same level bro except the keg at least has a bit more "class" lol. Nothing special at the cheesecake factory just good food and VERY good cheesecake.
