My favourite place in Seattle is The Salmon House, but you need to take a refresher course in geography, dude.
There was an RS member who used to be a regular on the boards, Lorna (I can't remember her screen name) who opened a restaurant in Seattle, and it got really good reviews. If anyone knows, please let me know - I only have her now dead Vancouver cell#.

Depends on your taste but to me there is nothing at the outlet, in alderwood mall there is a pf changs and a blue c sushi. If you want a real treat and awesome food then drive a little further and go to downtown Seattle. Hit up restaurant row and have your pick of yummy spots. Check out one of thom douglas' spots, his restaurants are amazing, you can't go wrong with any of them. From baked goods and pizza pies to home made doughnuts and wicked cocktails. The best traditional breakfast to mediterranean food, and his signature crab cakes to fine dining.... http://tomdouglas.com/ Posted via RS Mobile |

She didn't open a restaurant (in the traditional sense), but writes for Seattle Magazine now. Her blog Cookbook Chronicles
Kinda late now but the casino and Lynnwood are pits of despair for food. You have to drive another half hour south to SEATTLE to get the good stuff Quote:

Meh... I'm not a fan of Gotham (partly due to heir Keg relation) but love Mortons. Hit up their mailing list and see when the next two can dine for $xx is, it's a great value. Honestly I don't go to steak houses any more, I just pick up some aaa prime beef and pan sear and broil my self. For the price on a meal out for one I can feed four at home, I'd rather spend my money on other fine dining, French, italian, Japanese, west coast, etc... But if you really want a good steak check out Daniels Broiler, awesome Washington based steak house. There's also a ruth's chris although I have never been.
Do check out Purple Cafe, an awesome wine oriented restaurant (try the lobster and gruyere mac and cheese), and Dahlia Lounge, Tom Douglas' flagship joint. Posted via RS Mobile |
