I'm not sure how many peeps here are huge fans like myself but FYI they are coming to town again between July 22 through August 15, 2010 at the usual place which is Concord Pacific Place. Advance Tickets are now officially on sale. Just grabbed mine can't wait! No need for presale passwords and stuff. If you just sign up as a member which is free you get access.

I always go watch them when their in town. I have never gotten their Tapis Rouge package though. It might be worth it. Oh and the shows in Vegas too!

GabAlmighty 02-05-2010 12:08 AM

JqC 02-05-2010 12:21 AM

Don't waste your money. Compared to the ones that come to Vancouver, it was crap. Only thing worth being excited when it comes to "O" is the awesome stage they perform on. If you're in Vegas, I've heard good things about KA.

Durrann 02-05-2010 12:28 AM

they come yearly now eh?

skyxx 02-05-2010 12:29 AM

^ No, more like every other year.

HonestTea 02-05-2010 01:04 AM

^ FUCK!

Gonna be out of the country during that time :(

skyxx 02-05-2010 01:07 AM

^ There's Cirque du Soleil shows all over the world. ;)

I've seen "O" twice, and Ka once. I fell asleep during Ka! Ka wasn't that bad, but I thought "O" was better.

Bender Unit 02-05-2010 09:03 AM

O is the best of Cirque du Soleil, IMO

I watched all the shows when they came to Vancouver in the past as well as in Macau and Las Vegas.

I fell to sleep when I was watching KA, too ... ... ... ...

cleanEK 02-05-2010 09:07 AM

O was impressive

rien 02-05-2010 09:41 AM

I can't wait! I need to buy tickets soon

I liked The Beatles Love the best so far. Although there were less tricks then the others, the way they put the production together for it was fantastic.

Edison_Chen 02-05-2010 07:18 PM

This show was on cbc, back around Christmas time. It was pretty good, I haven't seen many of these Cirque de Soleil shows before.. But it looks like I'll be going to this one in the summer.

Ferra 02-06-2010 07:45 AM

Saw "O" last year...wasn't that impressed. The dancing wasn't too synchronized, and the sound effect is sometimes off with the visual.

It was good but wasn't as good as I had expected. (Considering everyone seem to praise it a lot)

"Ka" performance was better, but i got bored already midway thru the play.

JKam 02-06-2010 08:36 AM

i've only seen Love and Mystere and I like mystere WAY better. Love is only for beatles fans...

ForbiddenX 07-18-2010 07:51 PM

This is the first Cirque du Soleil I'll be going to, are you allowed to bring a camera? say a DSLR?

edit: nvm you're not allowed to bring any sort of camera or recording device. oh wells still stoked to go!

Brickface 07-19-2010 06:52 PM

do they serve food and alcohol at this show?

Anjew 07-19-2010 07:19 PM

speaking of tickets, how much is it for an average seat?

UnDeadMage 07-19-2010 07:40 PM

tickets are about 50-100 dollars for regular seating.
