Studying Music

I'm the type of person who can't really drown out surrounding noises when I'm studying and unfortunately I don't always have a quiet place to study at.

So recently I've resorted to listening to my ipod or w/e to drown out the noise. Now I find my music is quite distracting as well and I was wondering if there was any good studying music come of you may use? I was thinking something without a lot of bass or lyrics like classical but if I can stray from that I'd prefer it

Thanks!

I listen to songs without lyrics so I can hear myself talking in my head.

classical piano works for me, i don't know why but it helps me focus a lot better than listening to anything else

Trance/house works amazing, as long as it isn't vocal. Or you could try straight up classical music. If it's boring to you, you're likely to tune it out.
