Bad Store: Ashley Furniture Industries

Over a year ago I purchased a living room seat over 1500$ they offered with this a promotion of a gas voucher and some other discounts. The deal with the gas voucher was mail in your gas receipts to a certain address over the next year they would sent 25$ gift cards up to a maximum of 500$ ....


I did that for half a year didn't see one card waited and waited the company went out of business that supplied them with the gas voucher promotional ... i complained to the store they gave me yet another one I did it for another 6 months again it went out of business the manager gave me the run around (coquitlam - united blvd) ..... they said it was out of there control because they didn't know it was going to be a big scam so i complained to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) .... seattlement was with the store they would give me 150$ cheque since it was all a sham...


2 months later no cheque I wrote to BBB they followed up with the store and the store manager said it was in the mail ..... I waited another 2 months ... put another complaint through BBB this time i feel as both BBB and the store failed me because the manager is stating there company is being sued class action so he cannot seattle with me because of this i may get money once the law suit is done.... so BBB closed my case? This is after 1 or 2 years now ......


My problem with the store and the manager and the workers... should of went to the brick and got the free TV!
The other problem is why would the manager say it's in the mail when it's not and BBB not do a thing about that fake seattlement that was what they resolved for me?


Anyone know if there's anything else to do other then talk to media or nag?
