any suggestions of places where i can get one for not too expensive and good quality?
im hearing that everywhere is sold out :(

I kept seeing Luongo, Crosby and Iglina jerseys every store I checked. For $200 or a bit under, your best bet is Nike Store and Sportchek, tho the name plate and stitching isn't as ones sent out for individual stitching.

or if you want to buy a signed Shea Weber jersey, I could part with mine lol. I bought 3 jerseys yesterday and got 2 signed already, I let one go already cause people kept offering me $$$ for it

As for the game last night, any of you remember any "big" saves by Luongo? I know he only faced 15 shots but I can't remember and challenging saves lol

The only real big save is puck passed in front to a norway play lu got his left pad down and the rebound went to another norway player who shot it over the net.

If you looking for a canada jersey, there's a place by the granville skytrain stn and the The Bay. They had a bigger selection of jerseys but they cost more than $200. $225 or 235 I think.

has anyone been to any olympic hockey games at thunderbird arena yet? If so, do you know if there is parking there or is it too busy?

Yup, the store is called Van City Sports and the Jerseys are $235 plus tax, but its not the cheap stitching and nameplates/numbers like the $170ish ones found at Nike Store/SportChek

Thunderbird Parkade, the parking garage across the street, is closed to public access. Your best bet is North Parkade, but you'll need to access it from University Blvd (10th Ave) or 4th Ave. If you come from SW Marine Drive or 16th Ave, you'll have to drive around the whole campus cuz the useful parts of East Mall and Wesbrook Mall are closed.

need a Doughty jersey, that guy is sick

DuhDang 02-17-2010 04:00 PM

IMO from the first game Bergeron played very well, creating turn overs scoring chances and a big body presence.

I'm getting pissed at whoever's doing the commentating.
I'm trying to figure out which numbers the Sedins are wearing, and they never commentate on the play.
They follow one pass, and then they trail off topic about background information depending on who touched the puck.

wtf?

Yup, their store by the skytrain in the Bay downstairs is part of the Bay, sub-leased Bay space or something apparently. Their store on Georgia St is stand alone tho, with their own bags and receipts.

Its a small, jerseys I don't wear to play hockey I always buy small/medium, don't like baggy jersey look when I'm just wearing out to socially, haha considering I bought it at Vancity Sports for about $260, I thought I already was being nice for $300 for a signed one :p

Hondaracer 02-17-2010 06:59 PM
