Which card to use?

Just rebuilding an old Athlon64 machine here (Asus A8V-E) and I have three PCI-E cards I can use... so wondering which you all think would be best?

- EVGA GeForce 8400GS 256MB DDR2
- ASUS EAX300SE 128MB
- HP model 5188-4292 (near as I can find, it' an ASUS GeForce 7300 LE w/256MB RAM)

It's gonna be for a PVR/basic media machine, so it doesn't need screaming 3D performance... not worried about the difference in VRAM, mostly just which one will give better DX/overlay performance.

The newest card will be the best, I recommend the 8400GS.

This is in reference to the question about DX/overlay.

If the cards have DVI, even better - get a DVI-HMDI cable.

They do have DVI, but the TV doesn't have an HDMI input. It's an old NEC 42" commercial-grade plasma, it has one VGA, one DVI, one component, one RGB/component... I'm running the cable box to the DVI so the computer gets the VGA input.
