| 50mm f0.95 lens for Micro 4/3 mount!!! http://43rumors.com/
A 50mm f0.95 lens is apparently coming for the Micro 4/3 Mount. Judging by the one sample image, it looks like it flares and has somewhat low contrast, but it may be an amazing tool to have in your bag!

It'd be really cool to try out that lens on video...man, m43 is more fun that I initially thought!

There have been a few f0.95 & f1 lenses made. Almost all of them Canon and Leica rangefinder lenses. Leica's Noctilux is the only other f0.95 in production, but it's a $10,000 USD lens.

There are f0.7 cinema lenses too. It's just the light gathering power. There is a mathematical formula that I have totally forgotten out there.

From optical design perspective (in absolute mathematical calculation) the limit is F0.5 for spherical design, while aspherical lens have no limitation as far as my understanding in optical design goes, so yes, anything beyond F1.0, or even approaching F0 is mathematically possible
The fastest lens (not 35mm) I've seen was a single group dual elements lens measuring an impressive F0.34, but it's for some very special application.
Nevertheless, I think anything beyond F1.0 is just overkill. It's a nice feature to have, but in real world, there's hardly anything that requires such speed. Besides, the DOF will be so thin once you pass F1.0 that unless you are shooting at infinity, you can hardly get anything in focus. I'd rather have a well-made lens with excellent control on CA/comma/contrast/color... etc.
The Leica Noctilux F0.95 is perhaps the only commercially available lens beyond F1 that still kept the IQ up there. The Canon 50L F1.0 was really soft wide open, and some of the samples I saw with Canon/Nikon F0.95 lenses were not superb either.

Shall we have the argument of why this isn't a true f/1 lens because it's for the 4/3 mount? (DOF wise)

Speed wise, it is a f0.95, but the DoF on a Micro 4/3 camera is not/will not equal a f0.95 lens on a 35mm based full-frame camera.
