"Sacre bleu!"
"Sacred blue!"

"His name is fatov, he represents the Russian spirit of sloth and alcoholism"

DanHibiki 02-15-2010 01:59 AM

I liked the part where Ivan Reitman was announcing the countries and they play the ghostbusters theme song. "who you gonna call? Argentina!"

slammer111 02-15-2010 02:11 AM

The native scene and Vancouver sign part were good, but the rest of it seemed to be a mash of random stories and slapstick humour that aren't even congruent. Too much storyline to be crammed into 22 minutes. To be honest, the episode probably could've been done better with many of the same jokes if the Simpsons had decided to visit Vancouver for the Olympics instead.

"that's not my dress, it's just pins!"

:lol

Once you realize that the glory days of the Simpsons ended 8 years ago, you can really appreciate the subtle humor. Last night's episode had me laughing more than a few times. More than I can say about the "Cleveland Show".

I'll watch it again tonight.
PVR, ftw!

Same, first time watching simpsons in years. Found it funnier back in the day.

Seems to me they are stuck somewhere trying to appeal to kids or adults.
