| $10 hr jobs
I read the rules but dint really see anything about asking about this.
Basically my question is what are come career fields that pay $10hr right now I'm working retail earning a crap raid of $8 hr even though I've been there for over a year and I've even been promoted to another position but now I'm about to quit but before I do I wanna find another job so pretty much just wondering what at some places that offer pay around this, I don't care if it's retail or a restaurant just really trying to get a sense of other places I could consider applying too, the only thing I have in mind is going back to being a lot person at a dealership cuz it's usually around $10 hr off the bat. the ones that are pushing bud part-time are making $700 a week, the ones that push crack cocaine and bud are making about $8000 - $15000 a month.
if they were making 10 g's a day they would be at 3.65 mill by the end of the year... not likely.
sorry completely irrelevant to the topic.

Are you a high school student or already graduated? I know this doesn't really matter but I suggest that you focus more on school rather than finding some job that you might not even like. I know that when I say going to school will give you a better job sounds really cliche but unless you really need the money I don't see why you should really be finding a job.
Aside from what I think you should do lol there are some jobs that pay at least $10 an hour.
-Home depot like aznrsx said
-Rona pays at least 10 as well depending where you are( I know since I worked there.. and it sucked balls)
-Security guards get paid at 12+ or 13+ but sometimes you will get shit hours like graveyard
-I think Ikea pays at least 11+ im not sure though
-warehouse jobs like at superstore
the list really goes on. there are quite a few jobs out there that pay 10+ you just have to look.

If bcrdukes is ok with this thread, I'll allow it for a while (his department, his call tho)
$10 p/h jobs are fairly commonplace. I saw the message board on a KFC in Burnaby that was advertising for $10 as a starting wage. Its a livable wage if you don't mind having a roommate or living at home. Keep in mind that this kind of wage won't help you with any bank loans, car notes, or building up your savings.

I know but my $8 hr job in the mall isn't really helping me save any money, reason I'm looking for a new job is one because my job promised me a raise and didn't deliver and two Im splitting a car with my mom and I don't want to have to struggle to make payments to her.
I already graded and have gone through one semester of school I'd rather have a job that pays 10 hr than 8, I kind of want to work at a car dealership again I made 9 at my other dealership and it wasn't hard work just washing cars Posted via RS Mobile |

Data entry job, $10-$13/hr.
Warehouse jobs, $10-$15/hr.
Canadian Tire starts at $9/hr but if you have work experience you'll get around $9.30/hr.

Anything labour related will pay upwards of 12/hr
I pay my staff $12 to start and after a probationary period, depending on their performance, will get a substantial raise.

find a job in you career field, then excel in it, learning what you can before moving on. you'll make more money going this route than staying in a dead end $10-15/hr job.
