VW rabbit road race car im saving for a house now so the race car has got to go... im moving into something i can daily/track.. the car is an mk1 82 vw rabbit heres the specs on the car.. Seat base fabricated for sparco/recaro sliders/base battery relocated to pass seat area with moroso battery box and optima red top battery omp kill switch installed 1 guage wiring used from battery to starter ATL Max Sport Fuel Cell ( intank fuel pump) MK2 fuel pump housing with fuel filter and accumulator Complete Poly busing kit Neuspeed race rear 28mm bar Neuspeed race front 25 mm bar Koni sport adjustable rear shocks Bilstien race front struts Neuspeed race springs 2.0L bottom end, rebuilt 3 years ago Ported polished 8v solid lifter head Autotech valve springs 02a hydraulic clutch tranny conversion using corrado pedal assembly custom motor mount bracket poly tranny/snub mount stock side mount with poly insert custom shifter box to put shifter beside steering wheel (quick shifts) custom 10pt cage lightened G60 flywheel VR6 pressure plate bildon copper ceramic unsprung 6 puck clutch disk mk3 wiring harness, plug in play for headlights turn signals etc.. Runs in GTU at mission road course. I built this car with emphasis on reliablility!, speed has come with that though, its now modern enough that anyone can work on it. the car will fire everytime, its not tempermental at all. never comes close to overheating, completely reliable. this is a very clean car, and there has been a ton of money spent on it. im looking for 5500 for the car with all of my spare parts for it.. balljoints control arms bearings tie rods, stock sway bars. etc etc etc this is a big list. all wheels/ tires... 1 set snowflakes with used 032r, 1 set powdercoated steelies with 032r. 2 new 032r's and the new red wheels with khumo's... This car is really just a race car.. i do however have registation for it somewhere.. it would take quite a bit of work to make it street "legal" again.. options! i have a couple other engines/parts availible for the car that i never got around to putting in... 16v engine with ported head and 50 mm intake and all wiring 1000 16v engine rebuild kit.. all new gaskets/bearings pumps etc etc. 11:1 wiseco pistons, scat connecting rods, autotech lightweight pulleys, arp head bolts, metal head gasket everything needed to assemble the motor $900 Schrick 16v solid lifter conversion with 288 camshafts $950 this combination would easily scream to 8000rpm no problem with all rotating assemblies balanced properly i also have a1.8L bottom end that has been fully balanced, bored .050 over 10:1 compression, block has been decked, die grinded to remove all stress risers have new oil pump,pan waterpump etc. needs assembly.. this was assembled and was run with the current head a few years ago when i auto-x the car. it pulled hard to 7500 rpms with a schrick 276 cam $700 i have many other vw parts availible as well price is obo heres some pics of the car: http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/l...W/racecar5.jpg http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/l...W/racecar4.jpg http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/l...W/racecar3.jpg http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/l...W/racecar1.jpg cheers matt |
