I have like twice, if you're gonna drive piss drunk just make sure it's really late and on empty steers going 20 km/h max.

One of my good friends Johan was killed about 9 yrs ago by a drunk 16 year old. Ever since then I could never drink and drive or let friends do the same. Take a cab call someone to pick you up. How would you feel if you destroyed someones family just because you were to selfish to be smart about it!!!

Honestly if you are gonna go 20 km/h max it will be cheaper to take a cab. If some cop sees you driving that slow you will get pulled over for sure.
Unless you live in Hope or something its cheaper to take a cab then to have your car impounded. Its also a huge pain in the ass since you need to go to the police station to get your license back and then you can pay the $100+ it costs to get your car out of impound. That is assuming you only get a 24 hr. If you actually get a DUI it will cost much more.

i just hate ppl that drink and drive, my friend told me he knew a so call friend of his, drink and drive on the opposite side of the road...he's just plain stupid

y couldn't ppl just call a cab knowing that they r drunk, instead of thinking "o i could handle it" and next thing u knew u just cause an accident, or worst killing someone

GabAlmighty 02-17-2010 04:33 PM

The best is when someone reminds you that you drove home the previous night and you have NO recolection of it.

Really? I went camping and loaded my car passenger seat and back seats with all sorts of liquor. Went through a roadblock got flagged over and all they did was laugh at how much liquor I was packing lol

^ Hey, you didn't tell the "other" half of the story. Here, I'll tell the rest. You got anally probed by every single beer bottle you had and you got ass raped by Grizzly bears.

you're seen by witnessess going to your drunk, getting the vodka and downing it. you're seen drinking after the accident and they cant prove you drank prior to operating the vehicle.

pretty sure i saw this on tv, i wonder if its true.. sounds like a big loophole

even if that is a loophole, why would someone do that?

"oh shit, i just crashed, maybe i'll go drink the booze in my trunk before the cops come to cause more headache and some lawyer fees to fight it in court because there is a loophole."

^ if someone was killed in that crash, I'd probably strart drinking the booze in the trunk; hopefully the jury will believe I was operating the vehicle under influence of alcohol and not get convicted to first degree ...

thats the only way people learn, some shit happens to them, like they total a car or kill someone, or someone they know has been killed or injured. All the rest just do it, cuz they dont give a fuck.

Funny thing, it WAS a cop who did that. Monty Robinson. Hit a motorcyclist with his car, and left him for dead. Instead of helping the motorcyclist, he leaves the scene and claims he went home to down a couple shots of liquor to calm himself down, arrives back at the scene later and says that's the reason why he is blowing over the limit and the he wasn't drunk when he was driving... :die:

v.Rossi 02-19-2010 04:55 PM

^ irrelevant to the topic, but i find it sexy that your wife rides a motorcycle.

Eastwood 02-19-2010 05:26 PM

I drive after consuming alcohol. Nothing over the legal limit though. I've had a close call however.

This past Christmas I got my first and only breathalizer test and I blew a 0.077. The cop told me he could throw me in jail for this amount and give me a 24hr suspension. I had drunken 4 beers over a 2 1/2 hour period. I was bone sober.

Qmx323 02-20-2010 01:05 AM

i drink my bubble tea while driving

is ok?

Dunno, ask 'Monty' Robinson of the RCMP why he ran over a motorcyclist last year, then ran home to have 2 shots of vodka apparently, and then return to the scene of the crime where he blew .12. He knew of that loophole and used it, because despite the Delta PD recommending drunk driving charges and negligence causing death they can't prove he drank beforehand and now he's in court for a charge that barely adds up to a slap on the wrist. Oh by the way this same piece of shit was the highest ranking officer involved in a certain murder of a Polish man at YVR.
