bike help needed

K so i got an R6..friend dropped it at a light...broke the left peg in half..also bent the shifter a little bit but it still shifts fine when its off...now the bike starts fine in neutral but once u put it into 1st or 2nd it will shut off right away any one have any ideas?

Sounds like something else is bent. Normally, when the kick stand is down and the bike is put into gear, the bike will shut off.

Check the kickstand.

sounds like your friend shoud man up and pay to fix the damage. THat is my rule when I let someone take my ride for a spin. If you damage it, you replace it.

only one to break something on it is me...in wich case ill def. repair it hahaha

unless some douche decides to tip it over while its parked somewhere....
