FS: 1991 Turbo Ford Escort GT

Now that racing season is starting again ...

This has been my pride and joy for over 6 years. I have built this car up to what it is today from the ground up. The car is very reliable - you can drive it to the track and back home and everything functional in the car is new or almost new.
The car makes around 280-300whp at 18-20psi. It weighs around 2500lbs. The turbo and motor are capable of in excess of 350whp On low boost(15 psi) it traps over 108Mph on street tires. It suits an experienced driver best and no test pilots or time wasters will be entertained. The modifications/build are listed below. Some highlights include a full forged motor, LSD transmission, fully tuned standalone. The parts chosen are OEM or better to retain reliability and driveability. There are lots of spares that can go with the car.

For those of you that don't know the motor in this vehicle is a DOHC BP - the same as that used in Miatas.

The car passes aircare and has done so for the last two years without issues without removing ANY parts from it. This can truly be a weekend warrior and a grocery getter. It is best suited for someone who will take it to the track and around corners

The car has its exterior blemishes. The paint is not in great shape as is expected of an 19 year old car. It was never meant to be a show car, it was always meant to perform and be driven.

$5200 with a little flexibility - Serious inquiries only. The car is Aircared and insured now that the weather is nicer. This is a very reasonable price given the work and potential in this vehicle.

Parts list:

Thank you. Morning bump.

EDIT:

I should include that for the right price the car comes with MANY spare parts including brake parts, engine parts, another set of wheels, a spare turbo, etc. etc.
