Believe it or not Maple Story does attract a lot of younger casual gamers to play. Is very simple, easy to play, and it looks somewhat cute. Not to mention is free and you buy game card to get better items(scrolls), make your character look better(cash shop items). Is really a perfect game for noobs.

I know when I play I join a guild and there are forms where people post pics of themselves, you won't believe how some of the girls looks(they actually look pretty decent).
