Windows 7 Validation Problem
 

So like everyone else I have the cracked version of Windows 7 Ultimate.

The other day I had Windows Update on auto, so it updated for me.
Now it says I have a Validation problem.

Anyone know how to fix this? Is there a patch to fix this or do I have to reinstall Windows?

if you want a free OS use Linux... or maybe an oldass copy of XP.

uninstall one of the updates, forgot which it was but a quick google search will show it.

is it not possible to roll back the system to a previous saved point? I know it worked for XP :lol

if you have supertorrent account, you can download a patch to fix it.

You can get a legit copy of 7 for like $40. You must be seriously cheap.

You should get a legit version...but in the interests of providing information, it's KB971033. It's an optional update so you can always tell it not to install.

You can't back out of it and uninstalling still won't undo it. You'll likely have to reinstall.

I'm using a legit version so I haven't had the need to crack it but good to know in case any buddies run across the same thing.

And I'm running the cracked version because It was there, free, and it worked when I built my new computer.

I had the Ultimate RC, now I'm running Home Premium or whatever the student upgrade is. I haven't noticed anything missing yet, I'm not sure what the differences are but when it cost $40 and is a full, legit copy, you can't go wrong.

so here's my question, i have XP and i bought a legit copy.

i had to get it reformatted and they loaded a fake copy. I still haev the sticker... what can i do, can i re-enter the sticker from it?
