tax return

do i have to print my forms on a colour printer? are black and white allowed?

Presto 03-13-2010 05:41 PM

Can't you NETFILE it?

mr_chin 03-13-2010 06:02 PM

question, is it free?

BorLorBao 03-13-2010 06:46 PM

are you using a quicktax or UFile program of some sort?

jtanner_ 03-13-2010 06:48 PM

Is it a 2D barcode?

Black and white is fine.

Don't rag on the guy for not knowing or not filing it electronically... I work at CRA and there are hundreds of thousands of people that drop them off and mail them in...

wouwou 03-13-2010 06:55 PM

I am gonna mail them in this year. I lost the access code letter and it takes CRA a few weeks to replace it.

dum.

From my past experience, it only took me about 10 minutes during business hours.

Gnomes 03-13-2010 09:24 PM

Use this, it's free:
http://www.studiotax.com/

And save paper too when u submit online.

hirevtuner 03-13-2010 09:33 PM

since you lost your access code letter, you can just go online to get a temp access right away code to file taxes

Gnomes 03-13-2010 09:43 PM

*sigh*
SMDBICH is such a petty person who resorts to revenge failings after i failed your lame video here

Presto 03-13-2010 10:04 PM

Because I end up losing the NETFILE paper every year, I plug the code in as a phone number entry on my cell. Problem solved!

danned 03-13-2010 10:10 PM

software is easier

You can look it up online on "My Account" or call them for it! Very quick and easy!

Gunsmokez 03-15-2010 07:34 PM

black and white is fine. I do it every year.

stolengoods 03-15-2010 08:16 PM

SMDBICH is a loser.

How do I file taxes? I never filed them for my first job because they didn't get my social insurance number... And for my T4 I didn't get deducted because I didn't make enough. Do I still have to file?

I would say File it, because you can work the system and get back GST every quarter and a free 400 bucks.

Should I bring it in to someone to file it or file it myself?

Well, technically you're the lucky one because you're not giving the government an interest free loan. Those of us who get a refund overpaid the government and they're just giving back the extra we paid. (obviously without interest)
