Hey Guys,
Firstly, I have never had any notion or thought about selling my car and I woke up today spontaneously and sporadically deciding that it was time to let her go as I am approaching my graduate studies and also simply but sadly because I am just getting too old for modifying relatively “older” generation cars. Secondly, the car has been absolutely babied from the start, up to the very end, have always been kept in a warm garage, is absolutely clean, tastefully modified, and I will inevitably be sad to see her go. Keeping in mind of the above, I want to give a brief background and summary of the car. I received the car in 2007 from my Uncle which he purchased brand new in 1993 from a Honda dealership, if I remember correctly, in Coquitlam. He is a painstakingly meticulous and conscientious person and always had the car serviced by Honda every year and every scheduled appointment requested by the Honda dealership; this had occurred and been a routine in the 13 years he owned it. Before I took over the car in 2007, he had spent a few thousand dollars at Honda in assuring that the car was all up to his standards and was absolutely safe, maybe perhaps too safe. I want to stress that if there is a buyer for my car, you are not only purchasing the car itself, but a car with an outstanding maintenance background, treatment, and history in general. Just a few general specifications and information about the car:

The car was originally an automatic car; I brought the car to my friends at AJR in the summer of 2008 and performed a diagnostics check and professionally swapped in a 1994 JDM B18C (GSR) motor in her. The motor was purchased from a very reputable shop called “JDM Source” located in Calgary and they did a compression test which resulted with a compression of 200+ PSI across all four cylinders. I had AJR confirm these results by redoing another compression test when it arrived in their garage which it was accurate. Also, the motor and transmission was maintained before swapping it in, the following below is the engine’s specifications and what had been done/ replaced before swapping it in:
- JDM B18C (GSR) 1994 Full Swap
- Motor
- Transmission (hydraulic)
- Engine Wiring Harness (OBD1)
- ECU (P72 OBD1)
- Hasport EG Transmission Mount
- Timing belt replaced
- Water pump replaced
- Sparkplugs replaced (NGK platinum)
- Axels
- Intermediate Shaft
- 95 GSR Integra clutch petal
- 92-95 Honda Civic 5-speed brake and gas pedal assemblies
- Master cylinder reservoir (clutch)
- Slave cylinder
- Clutch hard-line piping
- T1R Short Ram (filter and piping)
- Clutch interlock switch
- Valve cover gasket
- All fluids flushed and refilled (Motul)
I’m a very conscientious person myself and literally everything that has been done to the car has been recorded by photograph and filed (I believe there are 454 pictures) which will be provided to the buyer. Also, used OEM rear bumper, complete stock interior, steelies with tires, and everything else I have from the car will be provided. The only negative aspect and problem there is with the car is there are approximately two 1 inch spots of rust on the driver side rear quarter panel (passenger side has no rust), passenger side axle leaking a little, and front lip cracked. I cannot stress this enough that there will be absolutely no part outs (including non-installed parts) as this is a all or nothing sale, price is relatively firm and I would be glad to keep the car if no offers meet my needs. Personally, I think the 1992-1995 Honda Civic Coupe is the nicest looking Civic ever produced and I value its condition and present state very highly, $8500; U2U, call, or text me at 604-780-0636, thanks.
