I use pidgin.
The only downer is that I can't see people's webcam.

this does happen to my g/f's msn. but this isn't really a fix, just a haggard workaround.

speaking of msn problems, have nay of you had the problem of as soon as you log in msn it crashes after about a minute but is still active and if someone messages you the message box doesn't appear so it seems like ur ignoring them
