illegal? (also, lights are white, NOT blue)

The light doesn't project rearward nor can you see any part of the bulb so I'm gonna say they're legal

Light projects onto the rear bumper as well as onto the ground...illegal

My step sister's 2010 stock civic LX has license plate lights that projects onto the rear bumper and ground as well, though not as bright and it's a yellow shade of white. Came like that stock
