Spencer's is long gone isn't it? haha

I know that Target and Macy's in the states have a small coin sorter that they sell for around $20. Not sure if US coins are the same size though, although if you picked out the loonies and toonies than you're probably good.

tool001 11-12-2010 09:41 AM

fuck, they should just get rid of pennies already!

Which Superstore are you referring to?

I know the self checkouts in Richmond do not accept or dispense cash.

Eff-1 11-12-2010 02:57 PM

When you go to River Rock with change, tell them you want CHIPS not cash. They won't send you away.

Anyone tried doing this at the other casinos? (Edgewater/Starlight/Grand Villa)

n'drew 11-12-2010 05:19 PM

Grand villa had no problems doing my bucket of pennys and nickels. I got 170 from all pennys :)

essel 11-12-2010 05:37 PM

^ Was this recently? I've got a ton of change waiting to be sorted

metrotown and grandview hwy

TypeRNammer 11-12-2010 11:51 PM

Grandview Hwy superstore you cannot dump your change into the self checkout but you can stick in individual coins.

Obsideon 11-12-2010 11:58 PM

I have a 3 foot tall, roughly 8 inches in diameter coke bottle that's almost full... last time I poured it out to change all the coins, it was only 1/5 full and I already got almost $500, I actually sat on the floor and sorted them out, took about 3 hours!

I don't even know what to do with the bottle now ... should be about 2k+ in there worth ... :\
Maybe I should just buy another piggy bank

donjalapeno 11-13-2010 12:01 AM

^ where do you reside :troll:

Jer3 01-25-2012 05:29 AM

bayee 01-25-2012 05:47 AM

The Canadian Tires at market crossing have a change sorter machine (10% processing fee)

yot065 01-25-2012 07:17 AM

canadian tires got one, just they take a small percentage though

Gumby 01-25-2012 07:35 AM

I've seen green-coloured change sorting machines at Safeway stores too - not sure what the conditions are though.

Holy shit! Aside from this thread being brought back from the depths of RS, I noticed Greenstoner's post.

I love his fail count........... most RS members can't count that high.

Death2Theft 01-25-2012 07:41 AM

5$ to use mine i'll supply the wrappers :P

CP.AR 01-25-2012 07:55 AM

be careful with a lot of these coin sorters. The problem is that they were made for the US Market, which means unfortunately they will NOT properly sort loonies and toonies.

Ronin 01-25-2012 10:21 AM

Does River Rock still accept? I might have enough to go again.
