help compatibility?

hey guys so after some research i decided to biuld my own computer
this is the first time im doing this so if u could please just double check for me if this will work TIA

cpu - Intel Core i5 750 Quad Core Processor Lynnfield LGA1156 2.66GHZ 8MB Cache Retail Box

heatsink - Zalman CNPS10X Quiet CPU Cooler 120MM PWM Low Noise Fan LGA1156 1366 775 AM3 754 939 940

psu - OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 135mm Fan 80PLUS Power Supply

dvd - Samsung SH-S223C 22X DVD Writer SATA Black OEM

video card - evga geforce 7900 gt 512

sound card - creative sound audigy 2

case - antec 300

seagate baracuda - 250gb hardrive

gonna get windows 7 pro from that student deal( the one with its own thread)

everything is from ncix but the last 4 things which is from my old comp

also one more thing when you finish biulding the acutal comp
u first have to install the operating system then all the drivers graphics card, sound card, mobo, moniter? ( i have no clue about software)

lol after this ima try to overclokc to 3.0 Ghz

any help would be greatly apprectiated

a) What are you using it for?

and given a),

b) If you're trying to play new(ish) games, that video card is very underpowered compared to the rest of the system.

yeah graphics card is pretty underpowered. similar specs to what i have.
some parts seem a bit weird like the gfx card and the hdd.
yeah os then drivers for everything else

the windows 7 deal for students has jumped to like $100 bucks.
if you want to get a dvd and whatever for safe keeping, might as well go to a retail store and pick up the upgrade DVD for $120 (Custom install)

mostly just surfing and streaming movies
the only game im gonna get is sc2 (when it comes out)
do you think my graphics card can handle it?
tyring to save money thats why im keeping the card

with that cpu, you can clock up to 4Ghz with a right cooling heatsink. I'm using

I have to say is the best cpu cooler ever made. fanless and quite.
