Look at it closely? isn't it obvious. But hey, it is free and you can try it out today. Maybe you should take a closer look at the photoshop video. Even the guy in the video said it is a "good starting point".

first question, how much is this gonna cost?

second question, when will it show up on piratebay? LOL!

but honestly, as a guy that isnt into photography and barely uses photoshop, is it even worth shelling out that kinda money?

I'm starting to support products as i transition from broke ass student to broke ass worker, like shelling out money for windows 7 (the first windows ive ever bought), but, PS? fuck... im guessing they don't give free upgrades haha...

You know while the feature is cool you have to remember that those pictures are carefully selected to work well with that feature.
Its gonna be like any of the other fancy features. Sometimes it works... Sometimes it doesnt.
The people that know how to take photos and work photoshop to get the results they want will always come out ahead. Its not like your average joe can just go out and take some pictures and mess around in photoshop a bit and turn out professional photos. In fact the average joe is better off not using photoshop at all.

Probably not worth it for the consumer...that's why Photoshop Elements exists.

Yeah I have CS5-beta, content aware isn't as 'witchery' as it seems haha.
It really depends on the image you're using, the ones they used just happens to work great with content aware.

Is CS5 beta pretty much the actual program, or will CS5 have more features?
not sure If I should delete CS4 extended and get this instead.

I was just playing around with the beta that's out there.. I don't know if it's because it's a beta, but the content aware fill really isn't nearly as good as they make it out to be in the video. Most of my results are more like the "joke" one posted above. I'll wait until the final version comes out before deciding whether it sucks though

^ A lot of people are misunderstanding how content aware works... it's exactly the same thing as the clone stamp tool, but instead it just automatically fills in the selected area based on the surroundings. Using the clone tool you fill/cover up/remove something manually doing it piece by piece in CS4 and the older photoshop versions...
In that picture above for example, it can't just create part of the tits and nipples... it would have to exist there in the first place... Also in that video he's removing things or covering them up with something that already exists in the picture...

I haven't tried CS5 yet... probably won't till real version comes out since kinda know what to expect.
