| How many "thank you waves" can you get?
the thread might be a hit or miss anyways
i was able to get 5 thank you waves from 5 minutes of stop-and-go driving today! feels good

Not bad. How many honks did you get from the angry people stuck behind you while you let a bunch of people merge in front of you?

Reminds me of driving in Japan. Instead of waving, they use their hazard lights to "thank", and I got into the habit  . They will also dip their headlights to "bow" when you let someone go.
And of course being Japanese, you can see the drivers actually bowing at the wheel when they do all this |

I use hazard once in a while to "thank" when it's dark at night.

Having grown up in Japan, I can honestly say the drivers on the road are very polite and rarely you'll hear any honks.

^ having witness driving in vietnam , i gotta say you cant go anywhere without honking at least 20-50+ times aday LOL i guess thats how they replaced the stoplights
